If you have a living room that is a touch to dark, or a bathroom that needs a little extra natural light then you know who to call.
The Three Most Popular Types Of Skylights Are:
Square Skylights – we manufacture square skylights in these sizes; 400 x 400 mm, 500 x 500 mm, 600 x 600 mm and 800 x 800 mm and can install a square skylight to all types of roof. Square skylight are usually installed in larger areas such as dining and living rooms and they provide a large amount of light with a good diffusion area.
Round Skylights – these days round skylights are growing in popularity as they perfectly suit the decor of most modern day homes. Because of their nature and the flexibility of the shaft round skylights are perfect for small to medium sized areas such as ensuites, bathrooms, medium sized kitchens and small to medium sized bedrooms. Once again we use only tough high impact acrylic for our skylight domes. We manufacture all our round skylight on the northside of Brisbane and we make round skylight in these sizes: 300 mm, 400 mm and 500 mm diameter.
Rectangular Skylights – by their very nature rectangular skylights are usually installed in larger areas where more light is needed. Because we have our own workshop we can even manufacture larger custom skylights. Most rectangular skylights are manufactured with dimensions such as: 400 x 800, 600 x 800 and even 800 x 1200. As you can see from these sizes this type of skylight gives a massive amount of light and they are often used in commercial and industrial environments.
All of our skylight are offered with a choice of three diffusers (or lenses); opal, half opal and clear-prismatic. We offer this choice of diffusers as each offers slightly different properties. Most people who are installing a standard skylight in a residential home will choose a clear- prismatic diffuser as it offers the greatest light diffusion and will allow the must sunlight into your home. If the area where the skylight will be installed needs a little added ventilation we also offer vented skylights, you just need to ask and we can explain about how a vented skylight works and which situation you may want to consider one for.
For over 20 years we have been installing skylights in Brisbane and can tailor a solution to any environment!
